Maurice uses just about everything he sees, hears or touches to become part of his artistic expression.

Nailing down a single, describable style for this mixed-media artist is basically impossible. Frankly that's what makes him so intriguing.

"My subjects can be any range of medium. For example, I like to draw caricatured like Monet, or abstract action paintings like Pollack, Kandinsky and Braque or even Marc, who were of different movements. I love to sculpt and throw pots as well. A trade that I picked up in college. I was formally a Graphic Designer and Plate Maker. But most of all, I love to expose young minds to the possibility of their own artistic potential, and that is why teach Art in the Harnett County Public School System."
